πΌ Role Description:
As an Origination Project Developer, you will play a vital role within our USA Project Development Team, your primary responsibility will be identification and evaluation of potential commercial projects in the field of renewable energy, particularly in solar energy and battery storage. You will be supported by our technical experts in negotiating purchase and lease agreements, as well as in the process of applying for grid connections and building permits.
π Your main responsibilities will be:
- Analyse restrictions and conditions of the land.
- Search for owners of selected land and work on the negotiations.
- Review solar or wind resources and layouts of the proposed plant.
- Help manage the different phases of project development.
- Comply with the quality, health and safety and environmental management system: legal compliance, monitoring of the applicable procedures, etc.
πRequirements:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Prior experience in renewable energy of at least 1 year.
- Native English proficiency.
- Availability for travelling within the state.
- Driving licence (B).
