Project Transition is located in Chalfont, PA with programs in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. Our core business is residential programing for those with severe mental health or dual diagnosis. Due to growth, we are in need of a Construction Project Coordinator to assist in building projects.

Job Summary/Objective:
The Construction Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the successful completion of construction projects by coordinating various administrative, financial, and operational tasks. This role involves close collaboration with the Vice President of Development, field crew, subcontractors, vendors, Essential Functions and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a good understanding of construction processes and basic accounting principles.
Project Coordination:
- Assist the Vice President of Development in the planning and execution of construction projects.
- Coordinate schedules, resources, equipment, and information across all project stakeholders.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed according to the project timeline.
- Responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects.
- Must have the ability to work on multiple projects while each project is completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinating construction schedules with lawyers, municipalities, construction contractors
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, invoices, change orders, spreadsheets, and project schedules.
- Prepare regular progress reports to stakeholders to be delivered to VP of Development
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for project team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Facilitate communication between the construction team.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during the project and escalate them to the Vice President of Development as necessary.
Budget and Financial Tracking:
- Assist in the management of project budgets, including tracking and entering expenses and preparing cost reports and spreadsheets.
- Monitor and report on the financial progress of projects, ensuring alignment with the budget scheduling.
Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records related to construction projects, including tracking expenses, invoices, and payments.
- Manage Accounts Payable by reviewing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment by the accounting department
Permitting and Compliance:
- Coordinate the submission of permit applications and assist with inspection scheduling.
- Track open permits and job completion milestones to ensure regulatory compliance and job close-out procedures.
Requirements:
Education / Experience:
- Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in construction project coordination, or a related role.
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to collect and analyze data, generate reports
- Some general knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SalesForce a .
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be willing to travel to assigned project locations which could be out of state and overnight.
