SUMMARY OF POSITION & REQUIREMENTS
Abel Construction is hiring professional and dedicated personnel. Candidates must be 16 years of age or older, have the ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. Candidates should have a class C driver license and transportation.
Abel Construction is hiring for the following positions:
General Laborers Track Loader Operators
Pipe Layers Small and Large Dozer Operators
Backhoe Operators Scraper Operators
Mini Excavator Operators Carpenter/Concrete Finisher
Large Excavator Operators Construction Crew Leaders
Earthwork Supervisor Commercial Driver(s) w/ tanker endorsement
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate Heavy Equipment in compliance with Abel Construction’s operating safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure company equipment is maintained and kept clean.
- Check all fluids, grease and fuel equipment.
- Utilize various pieces of equipment to perform fine grading, slope grading, backfilling, demolition, trenching, loading, excavating and stockpiling material.
Please note: this job is not forklift or machine shop oriented. It is excavation field oriented.
