This Program Manager position is the key contact between AbelConn and strategic customers, having significant business impact. The position manages new and existing customer programs from inception to completion keeping the customer informed to the progression. Plans, directs, coordinates, manages activities of designated accounts to ensure that customers specifications and requirements on projects are accomplished within prescribed quality and delivery standards.
JOB DUTIES
· Maintains positive business relations with assigned customer accounts. Ensure the communication between the customer and AbelConn is performed in a timely manner, accurate, complete and organized. Handles all communication with the customer regarding quotations, existing orders and expedites.
· Reviews project to determine time frame, cost, materials, production/testing and coordinates all phases of the project. Confers with engineering and operations staff to outline and develop delivery schedule.
· Prepares proposals and documentation to support the quotation of product, sales order inputs and internal files to support the documentation trail.
· Coordinate with external customers to understand manufacturing equipment and process to build sub-components and LRU’s and develop plans to integrate products and equipment.
· Directs and coordinates interdepartmental activities of project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget with Engineering, Quality, and Operations. Reviews status and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, customer, or others.
· Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. Works closely with Engineering and the supplier base to quote both existing and new products. Works closely with the Purchasing organization to assure customer demand is met as committed.
· Consistently working on cost savings and product improvement.
· Responsible for customer compliance to contractual agreements through review of PO and communication of established requirements for compliance to AS9100/NADCAP/FAA CFR 145/EASA
· Responsible for supporting the expansion of existing business and development of new business.
· Supports the organization by developing/enhancing internal partnerships with functional organizations such as Compliance, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and other support organizations.
· Provide technical leadership of diverse engineering disciplines, project planning, and provide technical solutions to customer requirements including, but not limited to, ITAR/EAR/EAR99 classifications, communication for customer configurations, and ultimate program execution following contract award ensuring 100% compliance with the Departments of State and Commerce. Will also participate in ongoing team meetings to identify requirements, specifications, export classifications, timelines and customer expectations.
· Develop and review sales and program management processes in coordination with Quality Management System Director.
· Ownership of sales opportunity communication internal and external, developing key process deliverables based on Gov’t, Contractual, Internal, and External expectations.
· May be responsible for communication to broader Celestica leadership team, based on progress of project deliverables and cost performance.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering or related field plus a minimum of five years experience in the position of Program Manager or related position.
Experience in military/aerospace manufacturing, understanding of pricing and P&L, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, well organized and familiar with computer applications including Microsoft Office suite of products, including Microsoft Project. Occasional travel will be required. APICS certification and MAPICS/INFOR software experience is a plus.
