Pay: $17/hour
Hours: 26–28 hours/week (plus optional paid CFSC project hours)
Schedule: Evenings/Nights
- Sunday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Monday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Thursday: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM–3:00 AM (Note: Thursday bake extends much longer in summer due to farmers markets)
Location: Abigail’s Oven, Spanish Fork, Utah (across from the rodeo grounds)

The evening and night shifts leave your days free, and the work’s straightforward but deeply rewarding. Beyond the bakery, you can opt into discussions with the Center for Social Change (CFSC), where we’re building stronger, self-reliant communities—one loaf at a time.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare ingredients and mix sourdough dough with care.
- Maintain a sourdough starter and keep the workspace clean and flowing smoothly.
- Work alongside a dependable team that values effort and purpose.
- Optional: Join CFSC talks and pick up extra paid project hours if you’re into it.
Who You Are:
- Dependable and detail-oriented, with a knack for following instructions.
- Someone who sees value in feeding families and supporting a bigger mission.
- Positive, ready to learn, and happy to pitch in with a solid crew.
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for long periods.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older.
- Have or get a Food Handlers Permit.
- Work well with others and stay upbeat under pressure.
- No experience needed—training’s on us.
