Sr. Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer on a 10-year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

• Installs, configures and maintains OpenShift clusters across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments.
• Ensures stability, performance, and security in the OpenShift environments.
• Supports developers and IT teams to efficiently deploy applications.
• Supports OpenShift frameworks and tools such as Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps, Red Hat ACS, Red Hat ACM.
• Works with development teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them.
• Works with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
• Supports data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack.
• Documents procedures and provides training to team members.
  
  
  

Clearance Required TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Degree and Years of Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• 7 years IT experience (minimum 3 years supporting platform environments).
  
  
  

Required Certifications

• Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following Security CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA , or CCNA.
  
  
  

Desired Certifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift.
  
  
  

Required Skills

• Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment.
• Linux distributions RHEL/RHCOS, Rocky, CentOS.
• CI/CD orchestration tools GitLab CI, Red Hat GitOps/ArgoCD.
• Container technology Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
