POSITION: Program Manager/Program Coordinator
PROGRAM ASSIGNMENT: Abilis Residential Services
SCHEDULED WORK HOURS:
The Program Coordinator is a full time exempt position (40 hours per week - Mon-Fri 12 PM-8 PM) which develops a work schedule in conjunction with the residence's direct service personnel to assure adequate coverage for residents of the home and with the Residential Director to assure management responsibilities will be completed. Some daytime hours for the manager are scheduled to handle administrative affairs of the home, to supervise residents who may not be able to attend work, and to attend staff meetings or accompany a resident to an appointment. At least 50% of the Program Coordinator’s workday is spent in direct service to the residents of the home. It is expected that the Program Coordinator have a flexible schedule to be able to complete unannounced visits at the residences to supervise staff on all shifts.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Program Coordinator is the on-site supervisory position within the residence. The Program Coordinator promotes a supportive and accepting environment within the home for the residents and their families and regularly monitors each resident in the home to assure the residents' needs are met. The Program Coordinator (1) directs, supervises, implements and evaluates the residential programs, with supervision from the Residential Director, (2) provides direct care and supervision of residents.
The Program Coordinator must be flexible to adapt to a multitude of situations to meet the needs of individual residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A relevant BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university.
Substitution for Education: Four years full time employment in a residential program or related field with supervisory responsibilities and a High School Diploma.
Experience: Ideally, at least one year of full time employment in a residential program or related field with supervisory responsibilities.
