Pay Rate :
17.75 - $ 18.50 / hour

Your Role as a Life Skills Instructor :
You will assist adults with disabilities in developing the skills necessary for greater independence in residential or community settings. You’ll oversee a caseload of individuals and provide ongoing support, both in their homes and in the community.
What You’ll Do :
Daily Living Support : Help with cooking, cleaning, and transportation to appointments.
Skill Development : Work with individuals to achieve their personalized goals based on their abilities and preferences.
Community Engagement : Encourage participation in activities like sports, movies, shopping, crafts, walking in the park, and other enjoyable experiences. Creativity is welcome to make each day meaningful!
Promote Independence : Provide training and opportunities to enhance their independence within integrated community settings.
Requirements :
MUST have a high school diploma or equivalent.
MUST have a valid driver's license.
No experience needed!
This is a more independent role – requires someone who takes initiative and enjoys working and building relationships
