Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly those on the autism spectrum. As a BCBA, you will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to develop and implement effective behavioral interventions tailored to each child's unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and strengths.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Implement and monitor behavioral therapy techniques in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management strategies.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for clients.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disorders.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Familiarity with special education practices and regulations.
- Experience conducting patient assessments and implementing behavioral therapy techniques.
- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes within the context of applied behavior analysis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
