Ability Innovations is a pediatric multi-specialty therapy clinic developed by an Occupational Therapist who understands you and what you do. You’ll get to work with an exceptional interdisciplinary team that blends Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy services together, to create a whole-child development strategy.

Physical Therapy Assistants:
- Provides appropriate intervention including treatment related to the established plan of care with appropriate duration and intensity. Educates and trains clients and their families.
- Accepts assignments from administration and/or Team Lead including caseload, productivity standard, education and in-servicing others, orientation and training new employees, supervising and training students, and supervising Therapy Aides.
- Communicates through written chart notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries regarding patient's status, any complications, prognosis, new client counseling, and plans for follow-up care.
- Participates in regularly scheduled or special clinical meetings related to patient care and clinic management.
- Maintains appropriate team and interdisciplinary relationships.
- Maintaining therapy spaces to facilitate appropriate standards of care.
- Adhere to documentation and role-based policies and procedures.
- Maintains clinical competency in the theory and practice of Physical Therapy.
- Work on maintaining and enhancing the Core Values within the Ability Innovations.

Education & Experience
- Current NPTE certification
- Active DOPL in the state of Utah
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- DIR Floortime/Play based experience is a plus
Physical requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Highly active play in various positions and dynamic movements
- This position does not require travel
