Activities Director (LifeStages Director)
IntegraCare, manager of Senior Living, Independent Living & Memory Care Communities, is looking for an energetic and dedicated activities/recreation professional to help engage and inspire the residents at our premier community in Easton, PA, Abington Manor at Morgan Hill, and help to keep it “A Great Place to Work and a Great Place to Live”.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide active and passive, group and individual activities that enhance the lives of the residents, allowing them to play an active role in society
- Develop, organize and facilitate a well rounded activities program that enhances the lives of the residents
- Consult with resident families as needed to best meet individual resident needs
- Display extensive knowledge of therapeutic recreational techniques and interact positively with outside organizations and promote positive community relations
- Record and maintain activity progress notes as well as a record of resident activities and attendance
- Actively supervise all team members within your area and ensure that all company standards are met or exceeded
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- A minimum of one year of experience in the Recreational or Occupational Therapy field, or a minimum of three years experience providing direct care is required
- A valid driver's license is required (with no more than two moving violations in a three-year period as determined by insurance industry standards)
- Gerontology experience is preferred
- A Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or LPN license is preferred
- CRS is preferred
