JOB SUMMARY:
Inspects aircraft components for conformance to customer and engineering standards. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determines methods, operations, sequences, and set-ups to perform inspectionsInspects products for conformance to customer and engineering standardsParticipates in related production support functions as directed by team lead/managerPerforms mid to complex quality control checks of mechanical componentsDetermines inspection methods, operations, sequencesSet-ups repairs, overhaul documentationLearns to assist Lead on process planning and flowLearns to assist Lead in training employees
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certificationTechnical education or FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1 year aircraft maintenance experience is required.Dynamic component repair, overhaul, and maintenance experience is preferred.Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
