We are seeking a skilled CCTV Camera Truck Operator to lead and perform inspections of sewer and stormwater pipelines using robotic CCTV equipment. The Operator will follow PACP standards, input data into GIS systems, and create detailed inspection reports. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, safety, and success of municipal sewer system inspections.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate a CCTV truck and robotic camera equipment to inspect sewer collection systems.
- Lead daily safety meetings and ensure crew safety.
- Manage traffic control setups appropriate for each job site.
- Supervise and assist the inspection team in launching, operating, and retrieving CCTV equipment.
- Repair and maintain CCTV equipment and software, including vendor communication and updates.
- Identify discrepancies on digital or PDF maps and ensure accuracy.
- Daily reporting and data uploads into company software.
- Utilize inspection software, ArcGIS Online, Excel, Word, and email for project documentation.
- Perform accurate utility inspections per company procedures.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic equipment as needed.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and various locations.
- Use technology efficiently (smartphones, tablets, etc.).
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and the public.
- PACP Certification (Required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 months of experience as a CCTV Operator.
- DOT Medical Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Comfortable working 50 hours weekly.
- Strong outdoor work experience preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Work in Florida, Austin, TX, and Virginia Beach, VA as assigned.
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and a focus on safety.
- Pay based on experience and certifications.
