Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Mitigation Construction Manager to oversee and manage the construction processes involved in mitigation and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on disaster recovery, water, fire, or mold mitigation. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective execution of mitigation and restoration efforts, managing crews, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Management : Oversee mitigation construction projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and coordinate a team of field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to complete mitigation and restoration work efficiently.
- Scope of Work : Review and develop scope of work for each project, ensuring the proper application of mitigation techniques (water, fire, mold, etc.).
- Quality Control : Ensure all work meets industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Perform quality control checks and inspections.
- Budget Management : Manage project budgets, track costs, and report financial progress to ensure profitability and cost control.
- Client Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and issues. Address any client concerns or requests.
- Scheduling : Coordinate project schedules, manage subcontractor timelines, and adjust as needed to meet project goals.
- Compliance & Safety : Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain a focus on workplace safety and ensure all personnel adhere to safety standards.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate records of project progress, labor hours, materials used, and other critical project details. Prepare and submit project reports as required.
- Problem Solving : Address and resolve any on-site issues or delays, including unforeseen damages, material shortages, and other challenges.
