Position Title: Tubing Fitter
Location: Carlsbad, NM and West Texas of the grid and coordinates to be provided for 1-3 stations
Employment Type: Contract, Contract to hire
Project Start and Timeline: ASAP, 3 months
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fabricate and assemble stainless steel tubing from 1/4'-1'' in group and single line runs.
- Install tubing on instrumentation with accuracy and quality.
- Understand and read P&ID drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Assist and maintain a high level of work quality.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety standards and industry regulations.
- Three (3) years of instrumentation experience.
- Technical certification or diploma in instrumentation and pneumatic systems preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of pneumatic devices, valves, actuators, and control systems.
- Knowledge of PPE equipment required for the tasks.
- Dedicated to constant improvement and attention to detail.
- Excellent tubing installation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Instrumentation tubing installation techniques.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- May be required to work on weekends and/or overtime when necessary.
- The position will work primarily in a panel shop and fabrication facility. Subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others. Need to be fit for duty.
- May require standing, bending, or lifting heavy equipment during the installation and maintenance process.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety goggles, gloves, and steel-toe boots, fire retardant clothing are mandatory.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and will need to meet the company's insurers driving policy requirements.
- Subject to a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
