Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Floor Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in janitorial or custodial services, with leadership skills to manage a team and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of floor cleaning technicians to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Manage daily cleaning tasks including mopping, cleaning restrooms, carpet cleaning, windows, dusting, pressure washing, upholstery, etc.
- Train new team members on floor care techniques and safety procedures.
- Monitor cleaning equipment and supplies inventory, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Inspect work performed by team members to ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and prepare reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the janitorial or custodial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, janitorial, and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to different work sites in different states.
- Travel is 70% to 90% of the time Monday through Friday.
- Company paid hotels and transportation.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be willing to willing to travel overnight on the road a week at a time
• Must have a current Drivers license with no restrictions.
