Job Summary Details:
The Journeyman Electrician role, you will perform electrical work and inspection on wiring, fixtures, outlets, and other electrical components. You will replace and repair electrical equipment and devices as required. You must maintain a deep understanding of building code regulations to check and ensure compliance with the highest standards of building design and construction. Success in this role will be demonstrated by employing effective process controls to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
• Must possess journeyman Electrician license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed
• Three (5) years prior experience required as an HVAC technician
Preferred Qualifications:
• Five (5) years' experience as Journeyman Electrician in commercial setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Diagnoses and troubleshoots faulty wiring
- Runs tests on generators and other backup systems
- Interprets technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Leads compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards
- Checks for and deploy upgrades of electrical components
- Documents problems and prepares reports
- Facilitates order of needed electrical components
- Relevant hands-on experience preferred
- Electrician license or certification
- In-depth knowledge of electrical principles, construction, wiring schematics
- Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other safety standards
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
