Position Overview
We are seeking Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team in Austin, TX. Our electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems.
As a Journeyman You Will
Execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom, and other systems
Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and alarm systems
Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels)
Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility
Assemble and install conduits, then connect wiring through them
Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables
Diagnose electrical hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace damaged units
Requirements
5 years of electrical experience in commercial, or industrial settings
Tenant Improvement experience (Class A)
Ability to complete projects from start to finish independently
Experience with lighting control systems
Proficiency in conduit installation, wiring, panel systems, and troubleshooting
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
TDLR Journeyman Electrician License
Willingness to pass a drug screening
Associated Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to accurately identify wires and perform electrical tests
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of circuits and electrical systems

Aerial lift operation proficiency required
