Description : MAINTENANCE MANAGER
In the role of Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Facilities Director in maintaining equipment and facilities within the Academy Mapleton Hill community (AMH).

Responsibilities
Responsible for compliance inspections with life safety, operational and building infrastructure equipment
Oversee monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual preventative maintenance in accordance with state, city and building standards
Daily inspection / monitoring of the Boiler Operation and BAS Monitoring System to confirm normal operation
Act as an extension of the Facilities Director in supervisory responsibilities of the Facilities Team
Provide standardized training to Facilities Team members
Work with a team of maintenance staff to complete projects and tasks
Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs
Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation
Communicate with supervisor and other staff regarding equipment status and malfunctions
Assist with the installation and set-up of new equipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Attend training sessions to stay current on new equipment and maintenance techniques
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of facility
Qualifications
Possess a valid driving license
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Strong knowledge of safety procedures / regulations and use of personal protective equipment
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
Ability to work flexible hours, and occasional holidays, as required
Ability to work on call and be available for emergency repairs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exceptional adherence to honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
Sense of humor and pleasant demeanor β ability to stay calm under pressure
Empathy toward the elderly and to geriatric issues and challenges
Education and Experience
Experience as a maintenance technician or similar role and 3 years' experience as maintenance / facilities lead
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a related field, a plus
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) a plus
