Job Title: Caregiver/DSP
About the Job:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers/DSPs. As a Caregiver/DSP, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Our team provides Community Living & Supports, Supported Employment, Day Support, and Supported Living Services.
Responsibilities:
- Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms.
- Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities.
- Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on status of health and safety objectives.
- Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver.
- Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines.
- Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
- Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs.
- CPR/First Aid Certification Training is provided by company.

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour (estimated), with opportunities for advancement and salary increases.
Location: Sylva, NC; Canton, NC; Cullowhee, NC; Franklin, NC; Highlands, NC; Bryson City, NC; Cherokee, NC; Western Carolina University area.
Estimated Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 per year (based on 40 hours per week).
