Key Responsibilities
- Process engineering change requests promptly and accurately.
- Draft technical drawings based on specifications from project leaders.
- Revise models and drawings to accommodate changes in the construction or manufacturing process.
- Maintain accurate records and manage drawing archives.
- Produce plans, elevations, technical details, and building layouts.
- Translate verbal directions into sketches and calculations to produce final work.
- Prepare documentation including product materials and dimensions.
- Adhere to pre-established guidelines and instructions to perform job functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Familiarity with engineering drafting principles and practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and produce precise technical drawings.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Flexibility to work across various plant locations and travel as needed.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Associate degree in engineering or a related field (required).
- Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Primarily office-based with occasional work in production areas (10-15% of the time).
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, operate standard office equipment, and safely navigate manufacturing plants.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (e.g., eye and foot protection) in production areas.
- Competitive hourly pay between $22 and $30/hour depending on your experience
- Flexible contract duration of 3-6 months with potential extension.
