CAD Operator

Our client in Oconto is searching for an AutoCAD drafter operator to their engineering team. They are looking for someone who has experience working with AutoCAD and has an interest in growing a career with a locally owned company.

Hours: Full time day shift

Pay: $22/hr

Location: Oconto, WI

Main Responsibilities:

· Process engineering change requests according to the approved policy in an accurate and timely manner.

· Responsible for the creation of manufacturing drawings.

· Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.

· Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

· Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Engineering or another related field.

· Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

· Principles and practices of engineering drafting.

· Ability to read blueprints.

· Sound analytical ability.

· Strong communication skills.

· Self-motivated.

· Ability to work well in a team environment.

· Ability to travel when required.

Physical Requirements:

· This job operates in a professional office environment with 20-25% of the time spent on the production floor.

· This job is mostly sedentary with occasional walking and standing.

· Ability to work in a normal office environment including sitting or standing for long periods of time, operating various standard office equipment, carrying paper documents/files, reaching and bending, speaking on the telephone, safely walking through our manufacturing plant, and wearing required personal protective gear (i.e. eye and foot protection).

· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.96 - $26.66 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
