Summary/Objective The person in the role will be responsible for setting up and running low quantity non production precision die components in a state of the art Milltronics machining center to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.

Summary/Objective The person in the role will be responsible for setting up and running low quantity non production precision die components in a state of the art Milltronics machining center to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.
Essential Functions
- Perform tooling setup, changeovers, and adjustments to maintain proper cutting characteristics and part dimensions.
- Align and secure parts to fixtures, ensuring precise positioning for machining.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, bore gages, OD micrometers, surface testers, and thread gages, to perform inspections and audits.
- Make real-time program and tooling adjustments as necessary.
- Deburr and inspect machined parts to meet customer requirements.
- Identify and address any chips, burrs, or defects in finished components.
- Operate lifting equipment to move parts and tools safely.
- Clean and package completed parts per specifications.
- Accurately document production data, including acceptable and unacceptable parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow Quality System Procedures and adapt to process changes as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Strong technical capacity with the ability to program and operate CNC equipment or be able to learn.
- High attention to detail to ensure precision and quality standards.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and equipment adjustments.
- Visual capabilities, including near, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as color recognition.
- Fine motor skills and finger dexterity for precision work.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and other required gear.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a tool and die machine shop environment preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English, following verbal instructions, and performing basic math calculations.
Salary : $17 - $20
