Position Overview: The Division Manager is responsible for leading and developing the residential/commercial segment of the organization. This individual, while overseeing the daily operations of the division, is accountable for setting goals, managing budgets, creating schedules, and promoting the overall success of the company. At all times the Division Manager should maintain and promote the general vision of the organization, while doing what is right for all parties affiliated with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assisting with locating, bidding, and estimating projects in multiple facets of excavation and land development.
· Managing project budgets and developing schedules to meet timeline and financial goals.
· Working with the General Manager to obtain resources needed to successfully complete projects within specifications of project requirements, timelines, and financial budgets.
· Communicating needs in relation to staffing, equipment, transportation, etc. to minimize issues during projects that could impact the overall timeline/budget.
· Coaching and training team members to promote the advancement of team skills/abilities.
· At times, providing hands on assistance to team members, using experience to help further their abilities and better understand the task at hand.
· Overseeing crews and building up team members to perform at the best of their ability.
· Project budget evaluation pre and post project to ensure overall success of the division.
· During projects continuously looking ahead to avoid roadblocks and monitor progress to keep the project on pace for successful completion.
· Reporting project progress to the CEO and General Manager on a regular basis.
· Communicating with external parties associated with projects to promote overall success, while mitigating potential issues that may arise during the duration of work.
Position Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years of age or older and hold a valid driver’s license.
· No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years. Must not have any DUI’s or OVI’s within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
· High school diploma.
· Minimum two years of management experience.
· Experience within the industry, specifically the residential/commercial excavation sector.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to lead and coach team members at all levels.
· Ability to read and understand project budgets and design schedules based on the provided information.
· Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or another related field (preferred).
· Commercial Driver’s License – Class A or B (preferred).

Pay: $84,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
