3rd Shift CNC Lead Machinist/Programmer
- Earning potential up to $117,260, including shift differential, retention bonus, and overtime.
- $3.00 shift differential.
- $500 retention bonus.
- 80 hours of holiday pay plus generous PTO.
- Quarterly incentive bonuses.
- Direct hire with benefits eligible after 60 days.
- Overtime is available but not mandatory.

At our world-class superabrasives company, you will utilize your Swiss CNC machining expertise to craft intricate and precise components for diverse markets. The ideal candidate wants to learn and grow with us.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up CNC mill, Swiss lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications
- Provide experience and leadership to off shift team.
- Develop programs from engineering drawings to fabricate various materials in the machine shop.
- Specify the tooling required for each program created.
- Accurately document setup and production information, including any deviations or adjustments made during the process. Maintain detailed records for traceability and future reference.
- Design fixtures as needed.
- Trouble shoot programs and tooling to optimize cycle times while ensuring high quality.
- Apply problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Assists in training and troubleshooting
- Supports Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quoting departments as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Follow established quality and safety standards
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Detail orientated with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Has a positive attitude.
- 10 years' experience as a Swiss machinist
- Ability to work overtime, sometimes on a short notice.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to run multiple machines each shift.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Stand for 4 hours a day
