Position: Clinical Coordinator
Location: Abraxas LDP | South Mountain Rd. | South Mountain, PA 17261
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Abraxas South Mountain. Located near Waynesboro and Chambersburg in the heart of the Michaux Forest.
As a Clinical Coordinator, you are responsible for developing, reviewing, and evaluating the clinical treatment program. The position also provides direct clinical services for clients and assists with training the
clinical staff.
Salary: $60,000 annually
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in coordinating clinical services for the program that include Individual Service Plan development, curriculum implementation, and treatment services fidelity.
- Assists the clinical team with communication to appropriate outside referral agency decision makers such as judges, probation officers, social service agencies, and community group.
- Assists with identifying, developing and measuring program results to enhance program services and communication to customers.
- Supervises the Family Advocate position.
- Coordinates with Clinicians to provide counseling groups and services specific to core treatment issues.
- Organizes interfacing of clinical services with educational, medical, community services, family services, and the training department.
- Prepares appropriate treatment reports and correspondence of all treatment services in a timely manner to ensure regulatory compliance and in accordance with applicable standards of care.
- Facilitate and/or co-facilitate meetings as needed including monthly training sessions/groups for staff development as it relates to delivery of services.
- Implements and evaluates effective curriculum to develop clinical staff skill sets.
- Communicate relevant details and distribute information relating to appropriate family members and support individuals.
- Assist with ongoing training for new staff members relating to clinical services.
- Assist with developing, implementing, and writing policies, procedures, and forms related to delivery of services.
Minimum Requirements:
The following education requirements are acceptable for this classification including:
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social science field and one year progressively responsible experience in residential/non-residential facility.
- One year experience in supervisory or managerial role; Master’s degree (preferred)
Other Qualifications:
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors.
- Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
- Valid driver's license from employee’s state of residence.
- Valid registered vehicle insurance.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
