Abrisa Technologies - HEF Photonics is a leading manufacturer of precision optical coating solutions and custom fabricated glass optical products. We are seeking an Applications Sales and Solutions Engineer to join our team in Santa Paula, CA.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. They will be responsible for acting as a technical and sales interface and resource to customers and other departments within the company.
- Generating sales quotations along with supporting technical and costing documentation.
- Providing production with designs and documentation as needed.
- Assisting production with analysis and recommending design adjustments.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Physics, or one of the Engineering disciplines. They will also have 2-3 years of experience in the glass or optical field.
Responsibilities
- Serving as a general point of contact between the company and assigned customers and prospects.
- Understanding detailed customer applications and identifying glass fabrication solutions.
Physical Demands
- Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound.
