This position may require working in both the office and on job sites. You should be able to lift up to 40 lbs, frequently sit, walk, stand, and perform repetitive hand motions. You must comply with safety regulations in both environments.

The salary range for this position is $82,000 to $110,000 with the average starting salary in the 40th percentile range; commensurate with experience and training. This ensures we get you properly seated within our organization so that all parties feel good about our future together.

What You'll Do:
- Design, deploy, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network infrastructure.
- Monitor, assess, and enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of existing network systems.
- Configure and optimize network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Collaborate with IT staff to ensure seamless integration and operation of networked systems and software.
- Conduct regular security audits, apply patches, and implement best practices for safeguarding data and communications.
- Manage and maintain network backup procedures and disaster recovery plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, outages, and connectivity problems.
- Document network configurations, topologies, and standard operating procedures.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and other enhancements while minimizing disruptions.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users regarding network systems and connectivity.
- Assist Helpdesk and collaborate with vendors, service providers, and contractors as needed.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency with Meraki routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN appliances.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios).
- Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
- Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., O365, AWS, Azure) and hybrid work environments.
- Hands-on experience with firewall configurations, security policies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Knowledge of Windows Server (2016, 2019, & 2022) and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of virtualization environments such as Hyper-V.
- Skills and Certifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Network , Security , ITIL Foundation.
- Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Networking, Information Systems, or related field with 4 years additional experience, OR 7 years of related experience without a degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing and supporting network infrastructure.
