Looking for an individual that is familiar with State and Federal public works requirements. Individual must have experience, attention to detail, self-motivated, meet deadlines and reliable.
Under general supervision, responsible in completing required documentation for contractors and ensure they are meet compliance requirements. Understand reporting requirements and labor practices of contractors and subcontractors engaged in construction work to determine compliance with the State of California and/or Federal prevailing wage laws and regulations.
Education and/or Experience : High School diploma or equivalent supplemented by additional training pertaining to federal and state labor code and prevailing wage requirements. Have experience in employment practices in the construction industry. Have broad knowledge of research and investigative procedures. Administrative staff experience related to construction, contract compliance, or procurement practices.
Abilities : Identify and evaluate problems, analyze facts, and present recommendations in written and oral form. Communicate effectively with individuals and groups of diverse interests and social, ethnic and business backgrounds. Exercise initiative and good judgment under pressure.
