Must have Aerospace / Automotive Industry experience.
Provide fabrication quotes to customers including :
Interpret the Bill of Materials from customer models, drawings, and specifications & create a saw list
Utilize CATIA to measure, hide and show details to be sure all material and purchased items are accounted for in each quote
Interfaces with necessary departments to determine the scheduling of work and materials. (Analysis inputs, e.g., capacity, urgency of request, material availability, etc.)
Procure outsourcing : Verify pricing and lead times from approved vendors for all material and purchase items from Bill of Materials, data, prints and quote package (steel, aluminum, Invar, etc.)
Ensures that all contractual terms and obligations of projects are feasible and can be achieved, while ensuring customer satisfaction
Enter pricing and pertinent information into electronic system
Project kick-off to internal teams
Manage project to ensure on-time delivery / customer satisfaction
Assures proper flow-down / accounting for project change orders.
Interact with our customers, vendors and internal teams for ongoing clarifications and updates
Ensure all aspects of projects are properly and thoroughly documented to ensure ALWS's interests are protected, and customer satisfaction is achieved.
Ensures projects meet cost requirements. Meets with owners if costs exceed budget and obtains permission before approving out-of-budget costs.
Meets with customers and vendors to identify potential barriers with resolutions that maximize production and minimize cost.
Prepares reports for management per AS9100 procedures.
Assumes Purchasing role / responsibilities in regard to AS9100 procedures.

CORE COMPETENCIES
General knowledge of fabrication / weld standards & procedures.
General knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100.
Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design drawings.
General knowledge of CAD software (CATIA / Enovia or similar) is needed.
Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines.
Minimum Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience Required : 5-10 years related experience in the automotive / aerospace industries
