What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estate Planning Paralegal position at Absolute Law Group?
Join our dynamic legal team as an Estate Planning Paralegal! In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our attorneys throughout the client process. You will be responsible for drafting essential documents, accompanying and assisting the Associate Attorney with all case-related matters, and ensuring a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Handle triages by taking calls and contacting potential clients who need legal services. Gather all necessary information to facilitate productive and successful initial consultations.
- Document Drafting: Draft and revise documents such as Powers of Attorney, Wills, Trusts, Amendments, and more. Ensure drafts are completed within 72 hours of assignment and prepare final documents for execution.
- Task Management: Complete tasks assigned by the Associate Attorney and other team members, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Client Appointments: Accompany the Associate Attorney in all client appointments, including initial consultations, design appointments, and funding appointments. Take detailed notes and complete tasks related to each case.
- Billable Time Tracking: Keep track of and post all billable and non-billable work accurately.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including scanning documents, following up with clients, attending signings, and more.
