Position Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to understand their strategic priorities and develop HR strategies that support those goals, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention initiatives.
- Advise management on employee relations issues, conduct investigations, address grievances, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Manage and lead recruitment opportunities with hiring managers to identify talent needs, develop recruitment strategies, conducts interviews, and onboard new employees.
- Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching for employees and managers.
- Provide guidance on compensation and benefits policies, including salary adjustments, bonus structures, and oversee all benefits administration.
- Analyze organizational culture and identify areas for improvement, facilitating change management initiatives to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Identify training needs and work with managers to design and deliver relevant training programs.
- Track key HR metrics, analyze workforce trends, and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Oversee Absolute’s bi-weekly payroll processes including regular and special payrolls.
- Administer leave of absences including short-term disability, and long-term disability.
- Manages annual compliance audits for the company including 401K Plan, ESOP Plan and assisting with Worker’s Compensation audits.
- Oversee Worker’s Compensation claims and prepare and file OSHA logs. Pull reports and OHSA data as needed.
- Manage HRIS System, Performance Dashboard, and Reporting.
- Submits accurate state and federal compliance survey data on a regular basis.
- Participate in the Strategic Planning Committee team leader bi-weekly meetings to collaborate and suggest ideas to improve company processes and ESOP communications.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
What you’ll need to bring:
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or similar program preferred.
- SHRM Certification preferred.
- 5 years of progressive Human Resources position, with a substantial portion of it in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and working experience with HRIS and payroll processing with ADP Workforce Now highly preferred.
- Experience in providing value added HR coaching, guidance, thought leadership, and HR business partnership in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and working experience in compensation programs and benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and practices.
- Technically sound in Human Resources fundamentals and best practices and the application of them in a manufacturing environment.
- Broad knowledge of safety, training and development, employee relations, performance management, and organizational planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
