We are a rapidly growing craft ice manufacturer specializing in high scale efficient

manufacturing of crystal clear craft ice. We started in Northern California in 2020 and have been expanding sales nationally to high-end bars, restaurants, retail customers, and events and venues across the country. Our focus is on safety, quality innovation, and sustainability, ensuring our products enhance the drinking experience of all of our customers. We are now looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team to open up our new production facility in Forest City, NC.

The Role

You will be a key member of our operations team reporting to the Production Supervisor, and be responsible for manufacturing and production of our artisanal ice products. We are looking for operators that have reliability, that will foster a team culture of respect and support of one another, that will strive to continually improve the process, and most importantly will help create a culture centered around personal and food safety.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with technical certifications a plus

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Basic mechanic and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with safety best practices including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), safe handling of chemicals, etc.

• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and other relevant quality standards

• Must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including overtime, holiday work, and weekends as required for a start-up organization.

• Ability to do whatever it takes to ensure safe, high quality, and efficient production of ice.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ice production equipment to ensure efficient production

• Maintain quality control standards by inspecting ice for clarity, consistency, and size specifications.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Load, unload, and package ice products for storage and distribution.

• Work collaboratively with other team members to optimize production processes, and look out for fellow team members.

• Record and report production data, equipment performance, and any operational issues.

• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.

• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Continuously look for opportunities to improve the production process, for improved safety, product quality, efficiency, or yield.

Physical Requirements

• Role requires walking, standing, and / or driving at times

• Ability to reach, kneel, stoop, climb, walk, push, pull, lift & lower weight of up to 50 pounds.

• Must be comfortable working in refrigerated and freezing conditions for prolonged periods of time as required for the ice-making process.

• Must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including overtime, holiday work, and weekends as required for a start-up organization.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
