Job Summary:
JPro Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. The estimator will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects, including new construction, remodels, and service work in the commercial sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Assessment: Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for commercial electrical projects.
- Material and Labor Costs: Determine costs related to materials, equipment, and labor based on project requirements.
- Bid Preparation: Develop and submit competitive bids, ensuring all components of the project are accurately accounted for.
- Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
- Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks in project execution and account for them in estimates.
- Market Trends: Stay informed about market conditions, including material costs and labor availability, to provide accurate and competitive estimates.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of estimates, correspondence, and project details for reference and audit purposes.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrical estimator in commercial construction or a similar field
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Soft Skills:
