Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to drive business development and revenue growth within the Facilities Management sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of hitting annual sales goals, deep industry expertise, and strong relationships with national commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development – Drive new business growth, maintain relationships, and identify opportunities with national commercial clients.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting – Utilize tools like ZoomInfo to source new leads and expand client outreach.
- RFP & Proposal Management – Develop competitive proposals, manage the sales process, and secure large contracts.
- Trade Show Representation – Attend major FM industry events such as Connex, SPECS, RFMA, BOMA to generate leads and establish connections.
- Strategic Account Management – Develop and execute account strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership – Support, mentor, and build a high-performing sales team.
- 5-15 years of Facilities Management sales experience
- Proven track record of $2M in annual sales within a Facilities Management company
- Experience working with top FM companies (list available)
- Deep understanding of RFP processes & national client sales cycles
- Familiarity with industry trade shows & networking events (Connex, SPECS, RFMA, BOMA)
- Strong negotiation & communication skills
