JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting provides trusted commercial cleaning services to Baltimore’s commercial facility owners. Local franchisees offer professional cleaning for businesses thriving in the city across various industries such as advanced manufacturing, logistics, tourism, creative services, biosciences, medical services and financial sectors.
Job Summary:
The Sales Representative position is responsible for selling cleaning and disinfecting services to other businesses. You will be given a dedicated territory as well as an established database.
- Quoting and closing new clients, generating information pertinent to the market, information involving accounts and competitors, meeting individual quotas and the performance requirements relating to individual and group objectives, as identified by the Sales Manager
- Attains individual and group Sales objectives
- Provides regular updates and information relating to daily activities and account status to the Sales Manager
- Works in cooperation with the Sales Manager to help achieve individual objectives
- Works with the Sales Manager to develop reports for tracking established objectives and reports to indicate levels of individual and group achievement
- Develops and maintains economic and market information documentation
- Analyzes, collates and presents information related to current market conditions and competition as requested by the Sales Manager
- Establishes and maintains accurate prospect and customers records
- Cooperates and coordinates start-up of new accounts with the franchise development team
- Prepares and/or reviews new business proposals with accuracy and professionalism
- Makes recommendations to Sales Manager relating to effective sales methods and techniques
- Works with the franchise development team to build short and long term relationships with accounts and franchisees
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay/Commission pay
- Business to business sales (within cleaning industry a huge plus!)
- Outside sales own appointment setting (50/50). Some leads are teed up and some will be self generated.
- Ability to set 10-12 appointments per week.
