This is a full-time, direct placement role at Brooks Todd & McNeil Insurance.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Personal Lines Account Manager to manage an assigned book of business within our existing customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review new business policies to ensure coverage matches the quoted terms and provide a warm welcome to new clients.
- Process annual renewals, endorsements, reinstatements, and cancellations.
- Handle daily customer service inquiries, including billing questions, mortgage updates, vehicle changes, and coverage inquiries.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and carriers, ensuring seamless communication and understanding of insurance needs.
- Utilize various carrier websites to efficiently manage policies and provide accurate information to clients.
- Write new business policies for umbrella insurance, watercraft, and antique vehicles.
- Collaborate closely with the Personal Lines remarketing team to facilitate account transfers to new carriers when necessary.
- Work alongside Personal Lines producers to support business growth and client retention.

Requirements:- Must hold a current Property & Casualty (P&C) license and comply with continuing education requirements set by the Connecticut Insurance Department.

- Professional designations are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with internal management systems is a plus.
