This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.

Citadel Roofing and Solar is looking for a Commercial Solar Crew Lead! We are looking for hardworking and EXPERIENCED Electricians / Crew Leaders that take pride in their trade. Interested? Great! Keep reading!

Responsibilities :

Pull / confirm inventory for each job and organize
Manage a team of 1-3 Installers
Layout and assembly of solar modules / array and mounting hardware
Mechanical / structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
Perform both DC and AC wire connections
Proficient in conduit bending up to 1-1 / 4" EMT
Communicate and document job completion
Make sure the jobsite is cleaned up nightly and at the end of the project
Additional duties required as needed

Requirements

1-3 years of solar installation required

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Able to read solar and single line drawings

Knowledge of NEC electrical codes

Proficient at wiring and interconnecting grid tied inverters

Ability to work in extreme environments (sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc)

Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on roof tops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time. Must be comfortable with heights.

Must be reliable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Excellent customer service skills required

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Previous commercial experience a plus

Salary Description

35.00-45.00 / hr
