Position Overview :

This role is for an experienced ERP professional who understands the unique requirements of manufacturing or fabrication environments. You'll be tasked with selecting, configuring, and implementing an ERP system that consolidates our manual processes into a unified platform. You'll work closely with our team to set up, train, and refine our ERP system to ensure efficient data flow across departments and eliminate redundant data entries, allowing for seamless communication and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

1. ERP System Selection and Implementation

Lead the identification and deployment of a robust ERP system suited for commercial roofing and sheet metal fabrication.
Customize and configure the ERP to meet our company's specific needs, especially focusing on inventory management, purchasing, materials planning, and production workflows.
Ensure full integration across departments and facilitate data consistency.

2. Inventory Management Setup

Develop and maintain an efficient inventory management system within the ERP, allowing precise tracking of materials and equipment.

Configure automated stock level alerts, reorder points, and detailed reporting to minimize inventory shortages and excesses.

3. Purchasing System Integration

Establish a comprehensive purchasing module within the ERP to streamline vendor management, procurement processes, and purchase order tracking.

Set up data collection and automated workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual entry errors in purchasing activities.

4. Materials and Production Planning

Build and manage a materials planning module to ensure materials are available in alignment with production schedules and customer orders.

Integrate production planning capabilities that coordinate schedules, resources, and job tracking to minimize delays and enhance productivity.

5. Data Migration and Optimization

Oversee the migration of all relevant data to the ERP system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity during the transition.

Work with departments to remove redundant processes and reduce data entry points, creating a cohesive, streamlined workflow.

6. Team Training and Ongoing Support

Train team members on ERP functionalities, specifically in areas of inventory, purchasing, and production planning.

Provide continuous support and troubleshooting to ensure effective adoption, utilization, and productivity improvements within the ERP system.

7. Continuous Process Improvement

Regularly assess and fine-tune ERP configurations to adapt to company growth and operational changes.

Track system performance and suggest updates or enhancements to maintain alignment with industry best practices and company needs.

Requirements

Proven experience implementing ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing, fabrication, or related environment.

Strong expertise in inventory management, purchasing, materials planning, and production planning.

Familiarity with EOS methodology and ability to work effectively within its structure.

Proficiency in data migration, system configuration, and process optimization.

Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to train and guide team members in ERP best practices and utilization.

Salary Description

90,000 - $120,000
