Job Description

1. ERP Implementation and Configuration

Candidate must have experience setting up and configuring ERP systems, specifically tailored to inventory, purchasing, and material planning in the context of manufacturing or even roofing and sheet metal fabrication.
Look for hands-on experience in both ERP implementation and process optimization rather than just user experience.

2. Inventory and Material Planning Expertise

Proven ability to design and implement inventory management workflows from scratch within an ERP environment, including tracking materials, ordering, and managing lead times.

Familiarity with establishing reorder points, stock levels, and ensuring data accuracy across ERP modules for real-time inventory control.

3. Purchasing System Design and Process Management

Experience in developing a purchasing and procurement strategy within an ERP, managing suppliers, creating purchase orders, and integrating these processes seamlessly with inventory and production needs.

Ability to set up automated purchasing workflows to streamline ordering processes based on inventory needs and lead times.

4. Manufacturing Background with Roofing and Sheet Metal

Strong preference for candidates with a background in roofing and sheet metal fabrication to understand specific materials, production planning needs, and supplier management relevant to the industry.

5. Process and System Documentation

Ability to document new processes and procedures for ERP use, ensuring a clear framework for future users and for training purposes.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration Skills

Must be comfortable working cross-departmentally to align ERP capabilities with business needs across production, inventory, and finance.
