Position Overview:
We’re on the lookout for an HR & Office Coordinator to support our amazing team at Abstrax! In this role, you’ll be the go-to for everything from onboarding new hires and celebrating team milestones to keeping the office running smoothly and ensuring compliance. This position is onsite in Irvine California and reports to the HR Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Engagement & Culture– Keep our 4 locations connected by coordinating fun monthly office lunches, sharing birthday & anniversary shoutouts, coordinating gifts & prizes, and supporting our all-staff team events.
- HR Helpdesk – Support with answering HR inquiries, assigning tickets, and escalating when needed.
- Onboarding & Offboarding– Ensure smooth transitions for employees by supporting onboarding and assisting with offboarding. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Hiring- Partner with hiring managers to bring in top talent by posting job openings and supporting the hiring process.
- Benefits – Answer employee questions and coordinate benefits administration.
- Compliance-Support with compliance tasks, such as filing reports, processing workers compensation claims, and maintaining required documentation
- Office Support – Order, restock, & organize as needed. This includes but is not limited to office supplies, snack bar, refrigerator, etc.
- Office Maintenance – Coordinate & follow up with staff and vendors for office cleaning, repairs, and general upkeep.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in either Office Coordinator or Human Resources role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with HR software and systems is a plus
- Passion for fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

Salary : $25 - $28
