Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of Connect Tech. We are a family owned company that has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. We are a perennial winner of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplace Award. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible & friendly Connect Tech to join our team. In addition, must be comfortable contributing / working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Primary duties include :

  • Phone and In Person troubleshooting of Computers, Phones, Networking Equipment, Printers, basically any technology or product.
  • Performing diagnostics and repair various technology devices including phones, computers, and tablets.
  • Repairing computers with virus and spyware infections.

Job Requirements :

  • Must have an understanding of IOS, Android, Windows 7, 8, 10, Mac OS.
  • Must have a basic understanding and knowledge of replacement of hardware components including RAM, HDD, and SSD.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with people with different technical backgrounds.
  • Must be able to multitask and keep your cool in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs with or without accommodation.
