Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of a Human Resources Generalist. In addition, must be comfortable contributing/working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Attention to detail & the ability to multi-task is key. Primary duties include:
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain records of employee-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain & file workers compensation claims
- General timekeeping duties (correcting timesheets, entering PTO/Paid Leave)
- Assist with new employee orientations
- Aid in supporting the delivery of key HR processes
- Assist the HR team with various research projects and/or special projects
- Other duties as assigned needed based on the organization’s needs
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist (at least 3 years)
- Exceptional communication & people skills
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word & familiar with Gmail and its associated applications
- BS/BA in Psychology, Human Resources, or relevant field a plus
- Attention to detail
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (ADP, Ceridian)
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Good time management skills
- SHRM or HRIC certification is a plus
