About Abundance Land Services and this position.
Abundance Land Services LLC serves the residential and commercial land development markets in Mohave and Yavapai County. We are seeking a land survey crew chief for our Lake Havasu location.
In this position you would perform boundary, topographic, ALTA and some construction layout.
The ideal candidate could range from a survey tech with several years of experience that is ready to take the next step in his/hers career to a highly experienced chief capable of performing most to all tasks independently. We are a small, lean, efficient firm with large projects and a lot of work to complete. If you are aggressive, hard working and are looking for something outside the bureaucracy of the corporate, engineer dominated consulting world, we would love to speak with you.
You would have a truck to take home and be assigned new equipment. We use Carlson. Carlson experience is not required. It is easy to learn, if you know how to survey.
· Computer literacy allowing the ability to research record documents such as plats, and deeds.
· Familiarity with Arizona Minimum Standards for Boundary Surveys and a basic understanding of boundary law and legal principles.
· Ability to perform boundary and topographic survey field work independently and with a survey assistant.
· Must be proficient with RTK GPS, and robotic total stations and either be familiar with or willing to learn UAV operation.
· United States citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
· Ability to effectively communicate and follow oral and written direction in English.
· Ability to prepare stakeout data for boundary, topographic and construction projects utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D
· Experience with construction layout utilizing alignments and terrain models.
· Ability to process photogrammetry and LiDAR data using Carlson Photo Capture and Point Cloud Advanced.
· Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) or a CST certification with 3 years of experience land survey duties of progressively increasing responsibilities.
Or
· An associate or bachelor’s degree in land surveying, geomatics or a related field and 1 year of experience.
Or
· 8 years of land survey experience, with progressively increasing responsibility.
· FAA Part 107 sUAS license or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Hourly: $32-$42/hr DOE
Insurance coverage, with 75% of premium paid by ALS.
Retirement: 401(k) with 100% employer match up to 3% and 50% match up to 5%.

You would NOT be expected to report to an office daily.
