Our team of educational consultants, behavior specialists, and therapeutic service staff members work collaboratively with parents, schools, and child care centers to deliver intensive early intervention services for children from birth to age three with developmental delays and disabilities.

Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) for Children:
An Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) specializing in children works closely with young individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges. Their primary focus is to assess behaviors, design intervention plans, and implement strategies aimed at fostering positive behavior changes and skill development in children.
Professional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma required; some college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred.
- Prior experience as an ABA or in a related field working with children with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.
- Certification or licensure as a behavior analyst (e.g., BCBA) preferred.
- Possession of professional liability insurance to mitigate potential legal risks.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy to work with children and families facing diverse challenges.
- Flexibility and adaptability to tailor interventions based on individual needs and progress.
- Adherence to ethical standards and professional guidelines in behavior analysis and child welfare.
Job description
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the behavior, skills, and needs of children.
- Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to gather information and develop a holistic understanding of the child's needs.
- Designing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each child.
- Implementing evidence-based behavioral strategies and techniques to teach new skills and reduce problem behaviors.
- Monitoring and analyzing progress through data collection and making necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
- Providing training and support to parents and caregivers on implementing behavior management techniques consistently.
- Advocating for the child's needs and rights within educational and community settings.
- Maintaining professional documentation and records of interventions, assessments, and progress reports.
