Instructor - Practical Nursing Program

Instructors needed for growing practical nursing school!

We are starting three new classes in July. Curriculum is ready.

Monday - Thursday

• Day Class: 9am - 3:30pm
• Evening Class: 4pm-10:30pm
• Clinical hours vary depending on site.

Open Positions:

• Foundations Instructor (3)
• Clinical Instructor

Primary Responsibilities:

• Registered Nurse/Nursing instructor to maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the classroom/lab and in clinical settings.
• Registered Nurse/Nursing Instructor will meet standards for course syllabi creation and submission, classroom management, use of technology, grade submission, and records management.
• The RN/Nursing Instructor will Prepare and implement teaching and evaluation strategies for the engagement of students in the profession of nursing.
• RN/Nursing Instructor will support student success through mentoring, tutoring, and advising.
• RN/Nursing Instructor will maintain currency in education and nursing knowledge and application through continuing education activities.
• RN/Nurse Instructor will contribute to the evaluation processes to measure outcomes

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse must have a minimum of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• RN must have two calendar years or the equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse
• Registered Nurse must hold an unrestricted license to practice in Florida or in one of the NLC compact states.
• Registered Nurse/Nursing Instructor teaching experience in secondary instruction is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
