Abundant Technology Group seeks a versatile and dynamic Social Media Specialist and Content Creator. This person will drive the team’s efforts to build engaging and educational social media and video content and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with business goals and timelines.
We are a dynamic and fast-paced company dedicated to producing high-quality, consistent content for our audience. We’re seeking a creative and driven individual with a passion for videography, graphic design, and social media creation to join our team part-time.
● Edit & Produce Content: Use company resources to edit long-form YouTube videos with B-roll, text overlays, and other engaging elements.
● Create Short-Form Content: Clip YouTube videos into short-form content for social media platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
● Design Eye-Catching Assets: Create engaging thumbnails, static social media posts, and graphics that align with our branding. Additionally, design images and visuals for website.
● Schedule & Manage Posts: Plan and schedule content across platforms to ensure posts go live on time.
● Script Refinement: Review scripts and use tools to ensure content aligns with our goals and objectives.
● Stay Trend-Savvy: Monitor social media trends and suggest new content ideas to keep us ahead of the curve.
● Optional UGC Creation: If you’re comfortable creating user-generated content (UGC), even better
Who You Are:
● A passionate video editor and designer with a strong eye for aesthetics and branding.
● Up-to-date on social media trends and best practices.
● A self-starter who can manage your own schedule and meet deadlines.
● A great communicator, able to respond to outreach within 24-28 hours.
● Enthusiastic about creating new and innovative content.
Skills & Requirements:
● Proficiency in video editing (Descript experience preferred).
● Strong graphic design skills for thumbnails and static social media posts (Canva experience preferred).
● Knowledge of social media scheduling tools.
● Basic project management to ensure timely content delivery.
● Prior experience creating videos or short-form content (examples required).
● Your own laptop and ability to work remotely.
● Availability for 10 hours/week to start, with potential to grow.
Work Environment:
● Hybrid role: Work remotely with occasional in-person meetings in Louisville, KY.
● Flexible hours, but quick responses are expected.
● Training is provided, but a passion for video creation, design, and social media is essential.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
