What are the responsibilities and job description for the ABX HVY MTC QUALITY REP position at ABX Air / ABX?
- Audits maintenance documents completed during a maintenance/modification visit for accuracy, completeness and technician authorization/approvals.
- Monitors the quality of work being performed on the aircraft.
- Provide expertise and guidance during the visit to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have HSD/GED
- Valid driver's license and ability to successfully pass an MVR background check
- Airframe & Powerplant license
- 5 years experience in maintenance and/or overhaul of heavy jet aircraft engines, (3 years on 767 aircraft)
- Ability to work flexible work hours and independently with strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to travel as needed to support ABX at other contract repair agencies, both domestically and internationally
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to obtain RII for 767
- Work in adverse/outdoor conditions
- Previous third party maintenance experience
- Bachelors degree in aviation management or business
- Computer skills
- Project management experience
- Supervisory experience
