What are the responsibilities and job description for the ABX HVY MTC QUALITY REP position at ABX AIR?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Audits maintenance documents completed during a maintenance/modification visit for accuracy, completeness and technician authorization/approvals.
• Monitors the quality of work being performed on the aircraft.
• Provide expertise and guidance during the visit to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have HSD/GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to successfully pass an MVR background check
• Airframe & Powerplant license
• 5 years experience in maintenance and/or overhaul of heavy jet aircraft engines, (3 years on 767 aircraft)
• Ability to work flexible work hours and independently with strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to travel as needed to support ABX at other contract repair agencies, both domestically and internationally
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to obtain RII for 767
• Work in adverse/outdoor conditions
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Previous third party maintenance experience
• Bachelors degree in aviation management or business
• Computer skills
• Project management experience
• Supervisory experience
