What are the responsibilities and job description for the ABX FLIGHT ADMIN SPECIALIST (PART-TIME) position at ABX AIR?
What you will do:
The Flight Administrative Specialist will provide Administrative Support to the Flight Department to include typing, directing phone calls, monitoring and coordinating system travel on ABX system, preparing reports, distributing mail, maintain office supplies, enter and track pilot attendance and Per Diem; perform other duties as assigned.
What you need:
• HIgh School Diploma/GED
• 2 years experience working as Flight Office Assistant or 4 years as an Administrative Assistant and exhibit a thorough understanding of Flight Department policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software
• A proven self-starter with the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate policies in accordance with Office and Departmental procedures
• Exhibit a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret flight schedules
• Knowledge of airport identifiers
Preferred Skills:
• Working knowledge of Crew Trac
• Working knowledge of AS-400
